Core Production Equipment

The equipment list is what separates a real factory from a small workshop operating out of a back room. Here’s what we run:

  • Automated cut-strip-crimp machines. 8 units — Schleuniger and Komax class. Handles wire 30 AWG to 10 AWG at production speeds.
  • Semi-automatic crimpers. 24 stations for complex terminations and low-volume work where full automation isn’t cost-effective.
  • Ultrasonic splicing equipment. 4 units for multi-wire splices in automotive and battery harnesses.
  • Injection molding machines. 6 vertical molders for overmolded cable ends — PVC, TPU, TPE, silicone tooling in-house.
  • FFC production line. Copper lamination, slitting, and die-cutting equipment. Pitch range 0.3 mm to 2.54 mm, length up to 1,200 mm.
  • FPC production. Photolithography, laser drilling, cover lay lamination, and AOI inspection. Single-sided through 6-layer constructions in-house; 8+ layer rigid-flex in partnership.
  • Harness assembly boards. 30+ dedicated harness jig boards for multi-branch projects. New boards built per project for branch layouts with 10+ connection points.

Testing and Quality Equipment

Every cable we ship passes through at least two inspection stages. The specific tests depend on project spec and compliance requirements. Our testing bench includes:

  • Continuity and low-resistance testers. 12 units, 4-wire Kelvin measurement for precision applications.
  • Hi-pot (dielectric withstand) testers. Up to 5 kV AC/DC for automotive, medical, and industrial programs.
  • Pull force / terminal retention testers. Digital gauges with data logging per IPC/WHMA-A-620 sampling plans.
  • Crimp cross-section microscope. For crimp height verification and process validation on new tooling.
  • Flying probe testers (FPC). 2 systems for automated electrical testing on flexible circuits.
  • Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). For FPC boards and solder joints on PCB assemblies.
  • Environmental test chamber. Temperature and humidity cycling, -40 °C to +150 °C, for qualification builds.

Workforce and Training

Equipment matters, but people build the actual product. Our workforce breakdown:

150 production workers across two shifts. Average tenure is 4.2 years — low turnover for the Shenzhen manufacturing sector. 35 are IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified at Class 2 or Class 3 level, with annual recertification.

20 QC inspectors working across incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final outgoing quality control. QC operates independently of production — they report to the QA manager, not the production supervisor, so quality calls aren’t pressured by shipping deadlines.

10 engineers covering drawing review, DFM feedback, tooling design, and customer project management. Every active project gets a dedicated engineer as the single point of contact for its entire lifecycle.
